Three words?
The freedom to speak, think, and act: Those used to be God-given...givens. But then somewhere along the way, in between the hippies and boomers, we got suburbs and safety, and social media that somehow just turned us all into tattletales, and HR departments that became the new legislative branch. And so we gave up God for good behavior — and we got "Karen." Now it’s just bureaucracy and rules out there: HR departments, diversity boards, sensitivity training, and a seemingly endless list of thou-shalt-not bullshit.
But shirts have been helping us say what we need to for a long time. Whether it’s Vote for Pedro, or Hunter S Thompson’s infamous Polite as F*ck — there may be no more perfect way to deliver a message than on the front of t-shirt.
Sometimes the best ways are the simplest. At Three Word Tees, that's the idea: highly wearable shirts with a bold message no more than three words. We want these shirts to make a point: to inspire, to motivate, to speak, and maybe even to just piss the right person off. Because the truth is out there, we've just gotten told too often that we can't say it. We believe that now, as much as ever, it is important to speak the truth, and to say things sometimes for no other reason than to exercise your inalienable right to SPEAK FREELY.
Sometimes the best way to tell the truth is to wear it on your sleeve. Literally. So keep speaking your mind, keep cracking politically incorrect jokes -- and keep telling the truth. Because it matters.
